Center Volunteer
One way to become actively involved in our organization is to become a Center Volunteer.
The Volunteer orientation explains who we are, what we do, what our volunteers do, what we expect from our volunteers, and what our volunteers can expect from TWRC. The orientation lasts about one hour and is held at the Center.
We do not require any previous experience but we look for people who can work well with others. It is important to love animals, but the PEOPLE bring the animals to us, PEOPLE support the Center with their donations, and PEOPLE, your co-workers, support the activities of the Center. So we look for people who have, or are willing to develop, people skills as well as a love for animals.
Dates and times of coming Volunteer orientations and training can be found on the calendar. Please review that schedule or contact the Center to discuss your needs.
Making the decision to become a Center Volunteer is a great way to help our native Texas wildlife!
