Oil Spill Response
TWRC has worked closely with Wildlife Response Services, LLC (WRS) to participate in and/or host Oiled Wildlife Response Training Workshops. TWRC has trained responders who can be called upon to help WRS during an incident.
WRS whose managing director is Rhonda Murgatroyd, was established in 2006. The company provides dedicated Oiled wildlife response support for the Gulf of Mexico coast and inland Gulf Coast states. Based in the Houston/Galveston area, their core network team consist of trained responders, capable of being dispatched at a moment's notice to any incident involving wildlife thoughout the United States. In addition, WRS has a number of uniquely qualified wildlife responders and maintins a database of additional on-call contract personnel to assist with an incident, regardless of size or scope.
