RESCUE - SQUIRREL
Baby Squirrels
Put a healthy baby in a shoebox off the ground away from ants. Provide a soft cloth for the baby to snuggle into. If the mother doesn't come for it after a few hours, or if it is injured, keep it warm and contained, and take the baby to the Shelter.
Adult Squirrels
Carefully contain the animal. They can, and will, bite, even through welding gloves!
Take the animal to the Shelter. Call TWRC if you need help or advice in containing the animal.
