Baby Opossum
If it is 7-8 inches long (not counting the tail), it is old enough to be on its own. If it is tiny or injured, keep it warm and contained, and take it to the Shelter.
Adult Opossum
Carefully contain the animal. They can bite, even through welding gloves! Take the animal to the Shelter. Call TWRC if you need help or advice in containing the animal.
