Emergency care for wildlife includes first aid assistance by experienced staff, the use of medical supplies, antibiotics, hydration solutions, medication, and veterinary care.
Support care can last a few weeks to many months and includes the use of wildlife formulas, special diets (insects, mice, fruits and vegetables, etc.), specific caging regulated by state and federal agencies, and consumable items like paper towels, disinfectant, and feeding utensils. This all in addition to lots and lots of care by the state and federally permitted volunteers in whose care the animal has been placed.
TWRC receives no funding from state or federal agencies and relies solely on the community's tax-deductible donations to help us give Texas wildlife a second chance.
Please be generous and help TWRC volunteers and staff rehabilitate and release wildlife back into the wild where they belong!
