Texas Wildlife Rehabilitation Coalition, Inc.

Caring for Texas Wildlife ... One Animal at a Time

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Texas Wildlife Rehabilitation Coalition, Inc. receives no funding from state or federal agencies.  We are funded solely by generous tax-deductible memberships, sponsorships, donations, and grants from the community.  TWRC relies on the volunteer support of the community it serves and the generosity of individuals who are committed to saving wildlife.

Becoming a
SHELTER VOLUNTEER MEMBER and/or SPONSOR of TWRC supports its mission to promote environmental conservation through public education and rehabilitation of native Texas wildlife.

Your annual donation will enable TWRC to continue to provide the following year-round services:

  • Free emergency and rehabilitative care facility open to the public 7 days a week

  • A telephone hotline to handle wildlife-related issues

  • A community education and outreach program

  • Community participation in TWRC’s Baby Bird Program which saves wildlife and provides hands-on training and education for volunteers of all ages

Rehabilitation costs are high as many animals remain in rehab for up to three months.  Through your generous support, TWRC can continue to provide the highest quality of inner urban wildlife care available to the Houston and surrounding areas.

Non-monetary donations are also welcome.  Please see our Wish List of items most commonly needed to fulfill the daily operational needs of the Shelter.
