The Rattle on Reptiles

Creepy, Crawly, Slithery & Slimy

The reptiles and amphibians of Texas are amazing! Come explore the wide range of adaptations that give these special creatures their wild reputations. After campers participate in activities, games and even meet a few cold- blooded critters, they will be reptile and amphibian experts!

The Babble on Birds

From beaks shaped like spoons to babies the size of a pea, when it comes to birds TWRC has seen it all. Come marvel at the wonders of birds, explore the science behind flight, investigate the secrets to identification and even meet a few of our feathered friends. Campers will participate in games and activities that will reveal just how special the birds of Texas are! Campers will even have the opportunity to help in the care of non- protected baby birds.
