BOARD OF DIRECTORS
A Board of Directors governs TWRC. The Board consists of nine (9) positions, including the Shelter Director and the Shelter Veterinarian. All Board members are volunteers and have been elected by a simple majority of the voting members. The Shelter Director and Shelter Veterinarian are employed by TWRC and are non-voting members of the Board of Directors.
The Board meets monthly and is directly responsible for all aspects of the Shelter. Any decisions made are subject to any restrictions imposed by state and federal law and by by-laws written by the organization. Each voting member of the Board has one vote in matters decided by the Board.
