Rehabilitation

TWRC is Houston's first urban wildlife emergency and rehabilitative care facility and over 130,000 orphaned, ill, or injured wild animals have passed through our facility.

32 years later, TWRC continues its dedication to conservation, public education, and wildlife rehabilitation.

Education

TWRC's Wildlife
Education Center
offers a variety of programs that provide a better understanding of the wild creatures in our urban environment and how we can co-exist peacefully with them.

Response

TWRC Wildlife Center has worked closely with the Wildlife Response
Services
(WRS) to participate in and/or host Oiled Wildlife Response Training Workshops. TWRC has trained responders who can be called upon to support WRS during an oiled wildlife incident.
